1. Cooked rice 2 cups
2. Peas, cooked, 3/4 cup
3. Oil 4-5 teaspoons
4. Mustard 1/2 teaspoon
5. Groundnut 1 tablespoon
6. Channa dal 1 teaspoon
7. Jeera 1/4 teaspoon
8. Urad dal 1/2 teaspoon
9. Hing few pinches
10. Ginger, chopped, 1/2 teaspoon
11. Curry leaves 1-2 sprigs
12. Turmeric powder 1/8 teaspoon
13. Coconut pieces 2-3 tablespoons
14. Green chilies 2-3 or to taste
15. Lemon juice to taste
16. Salt to taste

How to make Peas Rice?

1. Grind coconut and chilies, using water to a coarse mixture.
2. Heat oil till it becomes hot in a utensil.
3. Add mustard.

Wait till the seeds splutter.
4. Add groundnuts and chana dal.

Fry for a few seconds.
5. Add urad dal and jeera.

Fry till the dal turns golden brown.
6. Add curry leaves.

Fry for a few seconds.
7. Add hing.

Mix.
8. Add ginger.

Fry for a few seconds.

Add turmeric.

Mix.
9. Add peas.

Fry till the peas become hot.
10. Add ground mixture.

Mix.
